Terms of Service

1. The service

MEDJAT is an online editing studio. You can import your own footage, generate new shots, cut them on a timeline, grade and mix them, and export finished masters. Your project data is held in your browser and, when you sign in, in your account on our servers.

We keep improving the studio, so panels, tools and layouts change over time. We give notice before removing a capability you rely on.

2. Your account

You need an account to save projects to the cloud, invite collaborators and buy generation credits. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

One person per account. Team access is granted by inviting people to a project, not by sharing a password.

3. Plans and generation credits

Every plan unlocks every editing feature. Plans differ only in how much generation they include.

Generation is metered: each shot or sound you ask for spends credits at the rate shown before you confirm. Nothing paid ever starts without your explicit confirmation, and we never re-run a paid job on our own.

Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the month already running. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the footage you upload and of the masters you export. We only store and process it to run the studio for you.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that your requests do not depict real people without their consent or infringe anyone's work.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use MEDJAT to produce sexual content involving minors, targeted harassment, deceptive impersonation of real people, or material that breaks the law where you are.

Do not attempt to resell raw generation access, scrape the service, or work around metering.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.

6. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the studio up, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Keep your own copies of finished masters.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes and ending the agreement

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use MEDJAT after that means you accept them.

You can close your account at any time from your billing settings. We may end the agreement with notice, or immediately if the rules above are broken.

8. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time; access and included credits continue until the end of the paid billing period. Cancellation stops the next renewal.

Completed generation work and used credit packs are not refundable except where the law requires it. If a duplicate charge, technical billing error or legally refundable purchase occurs, contact us within 14 days and include the payment receipt. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
